Baby Shower 👶🏻

 My dear colleagues threw me a baby shower / farewell! I wasn't expecting much, thought it'll just be a simple get together (and I would've been perfectly satisfied with that!) but they went even further to surprise me with a guest visit (my husband, lol) and Wen Min actually planned games!!! Truly so blessed and so loved.

So Noel's visit was a surprise. He was home when I left home to take a bus to Wen Min's place. When I reached I saw a pair of shoes outside her house and thought to myself "these shoes look familiar" but didn't think twice about it. Then he appeared and they were like "surprise!!!!" 😂 

After I left home he rushed to go get change and drove over, and arrived only a minute before I did hahahahahaha.

Wen Min bought a baby shower games template off Etsy and we had quite a bit of fun going through it! She even got mini milk bottles for them to chug soju (mine was Yakult hahaha).

We also pre-celebrated Oli's birthday! I made a savory "cake" from chips and marshmallows (think rice krispies, but replace it with potato chips). Super easy and very addictive.

Potato chips 170g

Butter 30g

Marshmallows 240g

Melt butter and marshmallows in a microwavable bowl.

Crush chips in its packaging, empty into the bowl with the butter and marshmallows.

Stir to combine. Pour into a cake tin or any container. Let cool.

  

 

A month till maternity leave! Also one of the last few times I'll see my colleagues in person in the office. So lucky to have amazing and supportive colleagues.

On my last day in the office, another colleague gifted me a YouTube onesie :') Can't wait for E to grow into it.
