🇳🇿 New Zealand, Kayaking @ Milford Sound! 🛶

Milford Sound is a world-renowned natural wonder with towering peaks, cascading waterfalls and amazing wildlife - a highlight and a must-visit in New Zealand!

Instead of a cruise, we decided to go for a kayak tour instead. It was SO cold and we were dreading getting into the water (and fearing falling in), but it was a really amazing experience with the scenic views. No regrets and 10/10 would recommend!

Milford Sound is typically very crowded, but it was surprisingly quiet when we were there as borders were just opening up from COVID. Lucky us to be able to soak in the atmosphere without the massive crowds!

You can easily find any tour groups online and they provide all the necessary gear (including warm clothes, and waterproof bags for your phone/camera) so you just need to show up! Pack light snacks like granola bars to snack on the kayak.
