🇳🇿 New Zealand, Aoraki - Hooker Valley Trek

We stayed two nights in Aoraki, with the main intention of going on a Glacier Helihike. Unfortunately due to poor weather, we had to cancel the Helihike :(

There are still hikes in the area, the more popular one being the Hooker Valley Trek. We also checked out the Tasman Glacier Viewpoint which was a much shorter hike (15 mins).

📍 Hooker Valley Trek

I really enjoyed this walk even though it was raining (almost pouring when we were done). Lovely views, fairly easy - mostly flat ground, estimated 3 hours to and fro. We took about 2h 40 mins at a non-stop average walking pace.

📍 Tasman Glacier

Much easier pace, up stairs most of the way but only takes about 15 mins.
